Kids Checkups

So for Ian's 2 yr checkup he measured at 35" tall and 28 lbs... that's a growth of 4 1/2" and 7 lbs 10 oz since his 1 yr checkup. Crazy!!!As for little miss Lexi-lu she's turning 8 months old in 2 days and is 24 1/2" tall and 16 lbs. Its so funny because I was comparing her measurements with Ian's at this age and she is way tinier. I don't remember Ian being a big baby but... here is the latest picture of the two of them and its one of our favorites. It was Christmas Sunday...

We all went bumper bowling as well... the kids had fun and so did the adults. It was a fun visit and Ian loved playing with his cousins.

Lexi's 4 month checkup

Alexis is now 13 lbs 4 oz and 24" long... she rolled over by herself for the first time today and is such a cutie. Ian loves all over her and gives lots of kisses. She's a bit of a screamer and a big eater but she's doing great. Everyone is doing well... Niels is trying to keep up with school work, house work and work work but he's doing well in his classes. Arbonne is doing well for me, not as well as I was hoping but I've had a great start for October and I'm hoping for the best.

Ian will be 2 in just 2 short months and is already starting his terrible two's. He's starting to hit when he's frustrated and throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Overall its one big headache! Sister is catching up on his height... last I checked he was 33" long and 23 lbs... Lexi must be eating miracle grow...lol

A little family update...

So a little update... Lexi is now 3 weeks old and weighting a whole 7 lbs 12 oz which is a pound heavier than when she saw the doctor 2 1/2 weeks ago. Ian is 22 lbs 12 oz and 34" long. He's now 18 months old going on 14. Terrible two's have already begun and I'm not looking forward to teenage years with him. I'm back to normal... just a bit moody at times (but what else is new). Niels got A's in his first set of classes and starts his next set tomorrow. I've started selling an all natural and organic line of beauty and health products called Arbonne and am hoping it catches on so I can bring in some sort of income from home. Alexis Lynn Poulsen

Alexis made her grand enterance friday morning at 9:21am. She is 6 lbs 14 oz and 18 1/2" tall. It was another long labor of 35 1/2 hours but I went from 3cm to delivering in just 51 minutes and only 3 pushes. We're home now and starting to settle in. Ian is in love with his new sister and loves to pet her head. Thankfully she's taken to breastfeeding right away and is a really healthy.
