Ian's New Thing

Well Ian has the greatest laugh and it's funny how I got him to do it. I was going thru mail the other day and Ian grabbed ahold of it. I tried to wiggle it out of his hands but he has a death grip and it ended up ripping. Ian was hysterically laughing, he thought it was the greatest thing. So when we took Nana out to dinner for her birthday Ian started getting fussy. Mama decided to start ripping up a reciept to keep him distracted and he began laughing so loud it echoed in the almost empty restraunt. Our waitress thought it was the cutest thing so she started ripping her order pad for him... lets just say the table was full of scraps of paper. Ian just gets everyone to rip paper for him even the gal at the bank was ripping paper to make him laugh. Its great fun!!!

Daddy's First Father's Day

Daddy ended up getting called in to work this morning but he was able to attend sacrament meeting. It was great hearing primary sing to all the dad's of the congration. Ian also surprised us by crawling first thing this morning, so Happy Fathers Day Dad I'm mobile now! Catch me if you can!

Ian's 6 month check-up

Our big boy went to meet with Dr. Orth on 6/16/09 for his six month check up. He now weighs 16 lbs 7 oz and is 26 3/4" long. He is in the 25th percentile for his weight and 55th for his height. Ian has a slight heart murmur so the doctor wants to check it out but we're not worried. Daddy and Grandpa Poulsen both have heart murmurs too so its just a precaution. We'll keep you all updated with Ian's growth.

Mommy's First Mothers Day

This was mommy's first mothers day and the picture was taken right before church. Ian and Daddy made it a special day!!!

Cooking for Rachel Ray

Ian and Mommy wanted to try one of Rachel Rays recipes for chicken since that's pretty much the only meat mommy can eat. Look how good it looks... missionaries liked it. It was yummy!

Ian's first birthday party

Kristy and Gene Jensen's little boy Elliot turned 2 years old in April and Ian had fun playing in Elliots car. Maddy who is Elliots little sister and Ian's age was sleeping during this.
